The Chairman Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrime Senator Abdulfatai Buhari Ph.D, has urged Nigerians to be honest and remain committed to the growth and progress of the country.
Senator Buhari in a sallah message issued by his media office said the myriads of problems facing Nigeria as a country will be solved if the people are all honest and dedicated to the country’s project
The lawmaker representing Oyo North Senatorial district at the upper chamber of the National Assembly maintained that honesty is a sacrifice and should be done in good faith.
He called on Muslim faithfuls to be open and live according to the dictate of Islam which stipulates sacrifices and helping the needy.
The lawmaker also called for prayers for the Nation and leaders especially the president, his cabinet, the National Assembly and political officer holders.
“Obviously we need God’s intervention but we also need to demonstrate our readiness to move Nigeria forward, Nigeria is a project that must not fail and this can only be achieved with our hard work, dedication and prayer.
He, however congratulated Muslims on the occasion of Eid-El Kabir celebration and reaffirmed his continuous commitment to the development of his senatorial district (Oyo North), Oyo state and Nigeria.
