Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, the governor of Kwara State has approved the release of an additional N20m for the payment of student bursary.
News of the approval was conveyed via a statement issued on Friday by the Chairman of the Kwara State Scholarship Board, Barrister Fatima Yusuf.
Barrister Yusuf commended the leadership and membership of the student body for their maturity and urged them to exercise patience while the payment is processed.
The approve brings to N50m the amount released by the state government since last year for the payment of student bursary.
