The Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi has cautioned residents of Oyo state to shun all acts of violence, brigandage and public disturbance and ensure that the relative peace that has prevailed in the state is maintained.
He gave this warning in an interview on Monday with Governor’s office correspondents in his office.
Governor Ajimobi noted that his administration still has the responsibility of managing the affairs of the state till May 29th and as such would not tolerate any form of lawlessness from any group or persons especially in connection with the emergence of a Governor-Elect in the state.
He admonished all those who lost in the just concluded elections to shun violent reactions to the outcome of the polls, but rather challenge the results legally if necessary.
