Swedish Superettan club, Dalkurd FF have announced the capture of Nigeria’s U20 international striker, Henry Offiah.
According to a statement on Dalkurd FF official website, the 20-year-old ended his association with IK Sirius by putting pen to paper on a two-year contract with the club.
Commenting on the deal, Offia said: “It feels very good to come to Dalkurd. I hope to do well here and I hope to develop even more as a football player here”.
A product of Dynamo Football Academy, Offiah is delighted to reunite with his good friend, John Junior Igbarumah at Dalkurd and is looking forward to the new season.
“I’m very happy about it. I know John personally and know his strengths as a football player, so it will be fun to play with him and I hope we can accomplish great things together.
“I believe and hope that the season can be positive, both for my own part and for the team.
“I got a really good feeling after meeting the coach and I have seen some matches and enjoy what I have seen. So I think it can be a successful season for us”.
Offiah was a member of the Flying Eagles squad to the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland and was involved in all their matches with the exception of the 2-1 loss to Senegal in the round of 16.
