Nigeria’s Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr has revealed that Lille sensational striker, Victor Osimhen can be a great player if he stays humble and focused on his game.
The German football tactician further disclosed that the fact that many great clubs including Manchester United are keeping tabs on Osimhen is proof of the progress the striker has made over the past few seasons.
“If he stays humble and I know he will, he will go far.
“Though he’s had some difficult times with injuries and he had to start again from a small club. He has shown that he can fight, come back and play again at the highest level.
“So, if he stays humble, he will improve and develop. With Manchester United looking at him, he can be great,” Rohr said.
Osimhen has scored 13 goals for Lille this season and he’s the fourth highest goal scorer in the Ligue 1, level with Brazil superstar Neymar, but behind Ben Yedder, Mbappe and Dembele.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Napoli are the other clubs linked with a move for Osimhen in the summer.
