The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), zone B has felicitated Muslims on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting.
The Union rejoiced with Muslims for seeing the end of the holy month and urges them to continue with the attitude of prayers and supplication which they demonstrated in the last 30 days.
The Vice President of the zone, Comrade Cosmas Olalekan Oni in a goodwill message released by the zonal secretary, Bamigbola Gbolagunte charged Muslims to use the occasion of Eid de Fitri to pray for peace and immediate end to the Corona Virus pandemic ravaging the whole world.
The NUJ zone B which comprises of all the states in the South West called on Islamic faithful to continue to pray for peace in the country and the world at large as the whole world battles with COVID 19 pandemic.
The union also prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to guide the Journalists in the discharge of their professional works at this perilous time.
