As part of its plans to utilize a different approach in spreading political messages to the people, a faith based outfit, Coalition for New Nigeria under the auspices of The Jerusalem Ministry Worldwide is collaborating with All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and Muslim Association of Nigeria (MSN) to form a new and better Nigeria.

Explaining the rationale behind this unique marriage between these bodies, Prophet John Crownfit K. Anifowose who is coordinating the movement in a press briefing in Ibadan said the reason for the collaboration with APGA is due to the revelation he received from God that His salvation to the people of Nigeria will come from an Eastern part.

He added that it is on this purpose the Ministry and the Movement were sent by God to mobilize other new generation parties outside the two most popular PDP and APC with all well meaning Nigerians into coalition with the religious bodies in order to bring the most expected salvation to the country.

The chairman of APGA in Oyo State, Alhaji Owolabi Surajudeen Olanrewaju while addressing newsmen after meeting with the Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Oluyole Local Government chapter, Apostle Aduragbemi said the party is working hard to involve religion leaders by going to them to cultivate them into fielding people to contest political positions via their platforms.

“We are introducing new things into politics because we want people to change their ways, we’re introducing faithfulness, truth and trust into politics, a participatory and all-encompassing approach with religion, socio-cultural and relevant bodies so that we can send people of our choice, and not people that are sending themselves”, Oyo APGA boss noted.

He, however, added that his party APGA is a thoroughly national party and not a sectional party for Easterners alone, saying people insinuating that belong to the political class and they are doing it deliberately to program wrong notion in people’s minds to see APGA as an Ibo party.

Other executives of APGA that attended the parley included Hon. Mukadam Abiola, the Secretary, Adeniyi Christopher, Mrs. Fatoki, the state woman leader, Ajibade Adesola, Chairman Afijio LG Rotimi Adewumi, Azeez Idayat, Akinlabi Lukman, State welfare officer, Taiwo Olomolomaroja, Chairman Ibadan Southwest LG, Engr. Taiwo Adebayo Organising secretary and Mulikat Olanrewaju, the State Treasurer.
