The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has again extended the curfew which was imposed on the state till further notice.
The curfew was declared on Tuesday following series of violence which erupted in the state which led to the burning down of a police station in Ikere Ekiti where four patrol vehicles were set ablaze and the alleged gang-rape of three young girls by suspected hoodlums at Ado-Ekiti.
The Government in a public service announcement by the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Values Orientation, Mr. Akinbowale Omole alerted the general public that the 24- hour curfew earlier announced by the State Government is still in place in all parts of the State until further notice.
