The campaign office established by Ondo’s Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in Akure, the capital city of his state was on Friday razed by unknown hoodlums.
One of Akeredolu’s closest aides confirmed this to PMParrot but was quick to add that “Arakunrin is not perturbed. He believes his God that has been fighting his battles will continue to fight for him.”
It will be recalled that during the recently held gubernatorial election in Ondo State, the people of Akure massively voted against Akeredolu and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
But they voted for ‘son of the soil’, Barrister Eyitayo Jegede who contested under the umbrella of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party. He eventually lost woefully to Akeredolu.
