The Ekiti State NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. M.N. Chikezie has urged the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)Â members to impact positively and add indelible footprints on their host communities during their period of service year.Â
She stated this during the official closing ceremony of the 21-day orientation course for 2020 Batch “B” Stream 2, at the Ekiti State Permanent Orientation Camp located at Ise-Orun/Emure-Ekiti in Ekiti State.
The ceremony which was low-keyed, due to the strict adherence of COVID-19 safety protocols, witnessed beautiful parade and display by the corps members.
While delivering her speech, the Ekiti NYSC State Coordinator commended the Corps members for their strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.
She, however, charged them to sensitize the host communities on the dangers, prevention of COVID-19Â bearing in mind the recent Executive Order of President Muhammadu Buhari on strict compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols.
Speaking further, the State Coordinator encouraged the Corp members to perfect their Skills Acquisition & Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) training by taking part in Post-Camp training to further improve their skills while charging the corps members to impact positively on the lives of the people living in their host communities by embarking on projects that will add value to them.
