Students of Caleb University, Imota, Lagos have performed excellently well in the recently released results of their compulsory global information technology (IT) certification in digital marketing (google) certification.
According to Dr. Elvis Otobo, Head, Public and Community Relations of the institution, the result is the first product of the University policy which took effect in the 2020/2021 session, of each student in all programmes obtaining global information Technology (IT) Certification each session of study.
“The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Nosa Owes-Ibie was delighted with the students’ performance. He remarked that the IT certification will help the student’s competency, commitment, enhance their professional credibility, career advancement, make them to be globally competitive, improves career opportunities – promotion, pay increase, job portability and enriches their self-image and reputation among their peers.
“The breakdown of the IT certification results shows that a total of 547 students who wrote the IT certification examination were successful. Three hundred level students that passed were 324 students according to the results release on February 12, 2021: while 223 hundred level students also passed according to the results released in March. 19, 2021.
“The IT certification is a continuous and compulsory for all students of the institution as Batch B 100L students will write their certification examination soon.
“The University collaborated with Crystal Marketing Centre, to achieve this result”.
