Social Democratic Party (SDP) gubernatorial aspirant in Ekiti State, Engineer Segun Oni has revealed that he will defeat the All Progressive Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the June governorship election in the state.
This was contained in a statement which was made available to PMParrot in Ado-Ekiti on Friday by the Director of Media and Publicity, Jackson Adebayo.
He further debunked the rumor that he was begging for money to fund his campaign from APC chieftain, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu revealing that the propaganda was the handiwork of oppositions in the State who are jittery about his political aspiration.
“The APC and the PDP cannot deny the fact that they are actually in a jittery mood, a burden that the massive reception of Asiwaju Segun Oni has placed on them which they taught could only be combated with cheap blackmail and dirty propaganda”.
Adebayo further described Segun Oni as a cultured politician, astute administrator, diligent and contented personality who would not tarnish his image even in the face of penury, stating that his ambition is not laced with greed.
The spokesperson to the former governor further urged the APC led government to find a lasting solution to the lingering fuel scarcity that has been prevailing in the state.
