The chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon Yusuf Sahib Oladayo on Saturday morning cheated death after his official vehicle was involved in a lone-accident along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
PMParrot can confirm that he was on his way to the First Technical University, Ibadan’s first convocation event when the mishap occurred.
The LG boss popularly called Agba Egbe’s Toyota Corolla car was said to have summersaulted thrice after one of the rear tires came off on motion just as he left Guru’s Village.
Said a source who witnessed the accident “Agba Egbe and his driver were the only ones in the vehicle and nothing happened to them but we have asked them to report to the Police at Orita Challenge. We also admonished them to visit the hospital for medical attention because the state of the vehicle is enough to cause apprehension. It is a miracle that nothing happened to the two of them, it is an unexplainable miracle”.
Agba Egbe, we gathered was later joined at the scene of the accident by Alhaji Akeem Azeez, Governor Seyi Makinde’s Personal Assistant, Hon Sikiru Sanda, ALGON Chairman in Oyo State, Hon Rahman Adepoju, the Chairman of Ibadan North West Local Government and others.
Alhahi Azeez and others had to leave the venue of the convocation ceremony to quickly visit the scene.
