The gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ekiti State, Engr. Segun Oni has announced the appointment of Ambassador Dare Bejide as the Director General of his campaign organization.
This was revealed in a statement made available to PMParrot by the Director of Media and Publicity, by Mr. Jackson Adebayo, in Ado Ekiti on Monday.
He stated that the appointment was made to coincide with the commencement of electioneering campaign by political parties as contained in the Independent National Electoral Commission’s timetable for the June 18 gubernatorial election in the state.
The new Director General, a legal luminary who hails from Ilawe in Ekiti Southwest Local Government Area was an Ambassador to the Republic of Canada and Secretary to the State government in the first administration of former Governor Segun Oni.
The leadership of the Segun Oni movements further described the choice of Ambassador Dare Bejide as a blessing to the campaign organization while enjoining all supporters of Asiwaju Segun Oni to cooperate with him in order to achieve victory in June.
