Engineer Segun Oni, Social Democratic Party (SDP) gubernatorial candidate has tasked the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) on the need to conduct a credible election on Saturday.
He stated this while addressing a press conference on Friday in Ado Ekiti.
The SDP candidate further tasked Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, election observers, the international community and all other stakeholders on the importance of a free, fair and transparent election while challenging the commission to ensure it passed the credibility test.
Oni further charged INEC to use only accredited staff who have been trained in the use of the new technology deployed for the conduct of the election.
He, however, restated his commitment to abide by the General Abdusalami Abubakar peace agreement signed recently in the state.
