The Chief Operating Manager of popular Pounded Yam Empire and Lounge Ring Road, Ibadan, in Oyo State, Mrs. Helen Addai Oyewale has revealed that the new award presented to the food outlet will spur the organization to achieve greater heights and expand its horizons across the city of Ibadan.
She further stated that the award is a recognition of the effort of the food outlet in providing nutritious meals to the residents of Ibadan while vowing not to relent in her bid to ensure that customers get the deserved value for their money.
Speaking on the innovations customers should be expecting from the food outlet, “We are a meal-based organization and we are planning of spreading our outlets to other places. We discovered that our customers usually come from long distances and we intend to have a mini outlet to ease their stress of purchasing pounded yam”.
Mrs Helen further added that the food outlet is different from others because of the assorted meal varieties the outlet is known for. She said, “We are the only authentic producer of hot pounded yam in Ibadan, ours is different from mixed yam flour. Our combo of bush meat, palm wine with pounded yam makes us to stand out. Very soon, we are also planning to introduce another meal that is not common in Ibadan”.
