As part of plans to secure the lives and properties of his constituency, the Ibadan North East constituency 1 flag bearer for Oyo state house of Assembly under the ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party, Hon Engr Abiodun Babalola has installed street solar power over the weekend for the benefit of his people.
Hon. Babalola in his usual character extended the kind gesture to some notable areas across Ibadan North East constituency 1 with the aim of reducing the rate of insecurity which is affecting the nation and Oyo state as a whole.
The areas that benefitted from the second phase of Integrity solar lighting project included Beyerunka Junction in Odo-Osun Area Ward 1, Iyana Oluwo Compound Odo-Osun, Idi- Agbon Odo-Osun, Itabale Junction, Olugbode street WARD 2, Kosodo Junction, Ward3 ,Aremo, Ward 4 ,Isopako Beyerunka , Ward 5 Ajegede, Ojagbo Junction ward7 all in Ibadan North East Local Government Constituency 1.
Reacting to this life saving project, the people of the affected areas lauded the candidate Hon Abiodun Babalola for being a good and worthy ambassador of his people.
Babalola who is popularly known as ‘Integrity’ within the political circles for his unprecedented achievements during his short period as the caretaker chairman of Ibadan East LCDA was also described as one of the good politicians who have demonstrated that leadership is by wisdom and good character.
Reacting to Hon Babalola’s street light project, a member of Abiodun Babalola Integrity Political movement, Mr Kazeem Ayodele commended the former LCDA chairman for putting the people first.
“If Nigeria has the same number of youth who believe in building human capacity just like Hon Babalola, there is no doubt our nation will surely get it right”.
He, however, appreciated the governor of Oyo state, Engr Oluseyi Makinde and the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party for giving us a sound mind and capable youth to represent the good people of Ibadan North East Constituency 1 at the state house of Assembly general election.
Mr Ayodele further urged the people of Ibadan North East Constituency 1 to support and vote for Governor Seyi Makinde and Hon Abiodun Babalola in the 2023 general election.
