Oyebanji’s Govt Reiterates Commitment To Ekiti’s Economic Development

Mr Biodun Oyebanji, the governor of Ekiti State has reiterated his commitment to the economic development of Ekiti State as one of the six pillars of his administration.

The Governor who was represented by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Investment, Mrs Omotayo Adeola made this known while declaring year 2022 Trade Fair opened  in Ado Ekiti.

The ceremony which was held at the Trade Fair Complex & Adetiloye Hall, Ado-Ekiti, with the theme ‘MSME Growth, a major tool for Sustainable Economic Development: creating and consolidating an inclusive business environment’ featured the sales of different items by different traders which included fabrics, foot wears, food items, books, etc.

Oyebanji stressed the willingness of his administration to provide finance, soft loans and training to the citizens of Ekiti State in order to ensure a conducive business environment.

He applauded the efforts of EKICCIMA and other collaborators to have resuscitated the Trade Fair idea after 8 years of such event in Ekiti State.

“This Ekiti Trade Fair took me down memory lane of Expo Oyo ’82 some decades ago and I’m sure it would continue” SA said. She echoed on the interest of the Oyebanji government to creating the best stage for trade innovation.

There were good will messages from representatives of Ekiti Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (EKICCIMA) Chief Kola Akosile, the past President of EKICCIMA and Dr Olufemi Ogunmola; President EKICCIMA.
