Popular Fuji music maestro, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1 shared in the joy of Argentina forward, Lionel Messi, who led his country to a third FIFA World Cup title in Qatar.
Argentina edged France 4-2 on penalties to lift the trophy and after an extraordinary night of drama, high emotion and fluctuating fortunes, saw Messi and Kylian Mbappe share the spotlight to deliver one of the all-time great finals which ended 3-3 after extra time.
Apparently delighted by the outcome of the game, KWAM 1, in a viral video where he was performing at an event switched his lyrics to an unusual praise singing of Messi and Argentina, with beaming smiles that suggested he cherished the outcome.
Messi finally achieved his World Cup dream as Argentina won their third crown on penalties following one of the greatest finals in the tournament’s history at Lusail Stadium.
The triumph was Argentina’s 3rd World Cup title, after lifting the trophy in 1798 and 1986.
