Following the conferment of the national honour of the Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) on the Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Oba (Sen) Mohood Olalekan Balogun, by former President Muhammadu Buhari, an Ibadan born businessman and Asiwaju Adini Musulumi, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Olawale Giwa has congratulated the monarch.

Others who also received national honour from Oyo State were legal luminary, Barr. Niyi Akintola, SAN and Minister for Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement he signed and released on Monday.
Arc Giwa described the recognition of the Olubadan of Ibadan for the national honour as a welcome development for the ancient city of Ibadan land.
The foremost religion leader said that Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun has contributed to the development of Nigeria in different capacity.
Giwa said that Olubadan has used his wealth of experience to bring meaningful development to Ibadan, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
The renowned philanthropist describes Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun as a genuine promoter of peace, who has used his experience and position to promote peaceful coexistence among various tribes living in Ibadan.
Arc Hassan Giwa maintained that with the conferment of the national honour of the Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) on the first class traditional ruler, he will spur him to double his efforts in discharging his duty as an adviser to government at all levels and promoter of peace and national unity.
The founder of Ibadan-based non-governmental organization, Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, therefore, prayed for the monarch to continue to enjoy peaceful rein and longevity on the throne of his forefathers.
