Leader of pan Yoruba socio-cultural group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, has said there should be no excuse for the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu to fail Nigerians on its many promises.
Fasoranti said the world knew that Tinubu was prepared for the job.
Fasoranti, in a statement in Akure, congratulated Tinubu on his inauguration as the 16th President of the of the country.
The Afenifere leader reminded Tinubu that the country was facing a myriad of challenges in multiple fronts that required urgent and decisive action.
He listed the challenges to include high level of insecurity, poor and nosediving economy, derelict infrastructure, youth unemployment and the hydra-headed corruption among others.
Fasoranti said he was convinced that the challenges would be mitigated and the country would be a
greater nation if Tinubu’s speech and personal manifesto were religiously and
meticulously implemented.
According to him: “In selecting your team, please pick the best that Nigeria cannot offer and I believe that this
country is well endowed with the human resources that can turn her fortunes around.
“Choose men and women of impeccable character, competence and capacity and post them to their areas of maximum benefit for the nation.
“It is my prayer that the good Lord will grant you the wisdom, zeal, strength of character, good health and the courage of your conviction to steer the ship of our great nation to the prormised shore of peace and prosperity
“You can count on the unalloyed support of Afenifere throughout your tenure.”
