Preparation is now in full swing for the Annual Inter House Sports of Oluyoro Girls Grammar School which comes up on Wednesday 14th June, 2023 at Oke ‘Badan High School Playing Ground, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
According to a release issued by the Principal of the school, Mrs Towobola Adeyemi, “this year’s edition of the Inter House Sports will include various events, such as match past, invitation relay, staff race among others. This is a novelty, as all the planned sports are unique in schools’ inter-house sports competition in Nigeria”.
Parents are also expected to play active parts in the inter-house sports, as there will be sports events for parents.
“The school intends to utilize sports as a means to enhancing children’s cognitive and social skills. The school realizes the importance of sports in promotion of children’s physical fitness and health and plans to play serious roles in promoting the interest of its students in various sports”.
