The demise of Madam Rafatu Agbeke Oyebamiji, the mother of a foremost June 12 activist, Comrade Awa Bamiji, has been announced.
She passed on at the age of 98 years.
The death according to a release made available to newsmen by one of the deceased’s children, Comrade Awa Bamiji, the late Madam Rafatu Agbeke Oyebamiji died at about 6pm on Monday, 28th day of August at her residence.
The deceased was buried on Tuesday morning according to Islamic rites at the family House located at No 1, Ade Adebalogun street, along Olomi/Aba Alfa Road, Olomi, Akorode LCDA in Ibadan.
The 8th day Fidau Prayer has been scheduled to place next Tuesday at Alhaji Sarafa Akinola House, Beside Jinanrere Church, Jinanrere Bus Stop, Alakia/Isebo Road, Iyana Church, Iwo Road, Ibadan, by 10am prompt
She is survived by children, grand children and great grand children.
