The Oyo State House of Assembly has commiserated with the Majority Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin over the demise of his son, Faith Adedoyin.
In a statement signed on behalf of the House, Chairman, House Committee on Information and Public Affairs, Hon. Waheed Akintayo, described the news of untimely death of the 500 level student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho as a painful one, shock and heavy to swallow.
According to the statement, “The news of his demise was received with a deep sense of loss but in total submission to the will of the Almighty, unquestionable and all knowing God, whose ways transcend the human knowledge.
“On behalf of the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin and other members of the House, I pray that the Lord comfort, grant the Leader, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin and entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
“We just want you to know that our thoughts are with you and your family. We are wishing you and your family courage and peace during this time of mourning,” the statement reads.
It will be recalled that the first son of the Majority of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanjo Adedoyin, Faith Adedoyin was one of the victims of the fatal accident that occured on Tuesday in Osun State.
The deceased among others, who are 500 level students at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, were returning from an excursion to Erin-Ijesa Waterfall before the incident.
