Nigerian forward, Emmanuel Dennis, is closing in on a return to Watford after the Hornets agreed to sign the player on a six-month loan deal from Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir.
He has so far made eight appearances for the Turkish club.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the 26-year-old has agreed to take 70 per cent pay cut to move to Vicarage Road and help Watford in their bid to gain promotion to the English topflight.
It was also learnt that Dennis is poised to undergo medical on Tuesday.
Dennis joined Nottingham Forest from Watford in 2022 for a fee in the region of £20m after scoring 10 league goals and made six assists in 35 appearances for Watford in his first stint at Vicarage Road.
Watford are currently ninth in the English Championship standings with 38 points from 28 games played so far this season.
