All roads led to the exclusive Eternal Home Cemetery, Akinyele, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State where international businessman, author and notable strategic thinker, Otunba Abimbola Davis was given a very befitting burial.
The procession which started on Thursday morning from Teju Hospital’s morgue on Ring Road, Ibadan, moved to the Ibadan Golf Club, Sabo where colleagues of the deceased, an avid golfer was celebrated in their traditional style.
The burial train was led by the Captain of Club, Mr Seyi Alaba and backed up by Barrister S.I. Salami.
The widow, Mrs Yinka Davis broke down in tears at some point but she was consoled by Mr. Azeez Olalekan, (also known as Energy) and others elders in the family.
The deceased was eventually laid to rest at the Eternal Home around 11am on Thursday, April 11, 2022.
