The management of the fast rising childhood education promotion school in Ibadan, Mahnatez International School (MIS), Oluyole, has, in its usual tradition, organized a get-together for the teachers, immediate past students and their parents.

The get-together, according to the School’s Proprietress, Hajjia Bolatito Adebisi, ‘Grandma Adebisi’ as she is fondly called by her students, is the fourth edition and it is aimed at fostering togetherness and unending love among the parents and children of the school.

Grandma Adebisi maintained that the avenue is also being used to celebrate the parents for their commitment, morally and financially, to ensure that the children become better persons in the future.

“Our school, Mahnatez International School, is keen on promoting excellence in early childhood education.  Our children matter and every milestone achieved is worthy of celebration.  We need to let them know that we are proud of them and they are indeed special and are worthy to celebrate.

“The get-together is also an opportunity to celebrate the parents specially, because they have invested a lot. We need to appreciate the moral and financial engagement in the lives of the children. They want the children to become better persons, to become what they can be proud of, that is why they too deserve to be celebrated.”

Mr. Tunde Adesanmi, who was their class teacher, while speaking, urged the parents to continue to monitor their wards as they were doing during their elementary classes.

He also charged the children to remain focused in their academics and as well, continue to be good ambassadors of their families and the school.

He assured them that Mahnatez International School as a family is proud of them and can attest to their ability to succeed in their secondary education.

Exposing the children to what they are expected to experience in secondary school, Mr. Samuel Ogunjimi, urged them not to keep their experiences away from the parents.

The students in turn, appreciated their parents, the proprietress and the entire staff of the school for guiding, teaching and beating them to achieve their dream.

Highlights of the event included the presentation of gifts to the children and brain task games by the parents and children.
