The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DAKA Foundation, Chief (Dr) Kazeem Adesina Abidikugu popularly known as KSO has joined others to mourn the passing of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin I).
Oba Olakulehin joined his ancestors on Monday morning having celebrated his 90th birthday last Saturday.
Abidikugu who was recently conferred with honorary title of Agba-Akin Bobajiro of Ibadanland in a statement on Monday said the passing of Oba Olakulehin was a shock to him, thanking God however that he had a peaceful reign.

Abidikugu, a United Kingdom based Psychiatric Consultant expressed his sympathy on the passing of the First Class Oba to the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, Olubadan in Council, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, (CCII), and the entire people of Ibadanland.
He prayed that Ibadanland will continue to witness peace, tranquility and great developments.
According to the statement, “I mourn the passing of the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin who joined his ancestors on Monday morning.
“His passing is sad and shocking because only last Saturday he celebrated his birthday. And he was preparing for his One year anniversary on the throne before his demise. We prayed that his passing will continue to bring peace to Ibadanland.
“I sympathise with Governor Makinde, the Olubadan In Council, the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, (CCII) and the entire citizens and residents of Ibadanland on the demise of the Olubadan.
“I also wish Ibadanland more development and blessings”.
