The Asiwaju Adini Musulumi of Ibadanland, Arc (Dr.) Hassan Giwa has joined Muslim in Nigeria, Oyo State and Lagelu local Government to celebrate the 2025 Maulud Nabiyy.
Arc Giwa, in his message to commemorate the celebration of the birth of Prophet Muhammed, emphasized on the virtues of patience, kindness and tolerance.
In relation to Nigeria’s current economic situation, the founder of Hassan Olawale Giwa (HOG) Foundation, called on individuals particularly Muslim to tolerate one another and be ‘our brothers’ keeper’.
While urging Nigerians to be patient with the President Bola Tinubu-led government on economic reform, Arc Giwa said that there is light at the end of the tunnel, noting further that Nigerians are still going to experience surplus.
The HOG founder enjoined Muslims to pay attention to and emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammed, emphasizing that alleviating poverty is a major way of achieving a peaceful environment.
He congratulated the Chief Imam of Ibadanland and Council and all Islamic scholars and spiritual fathers on the occasion of this year’s celebration of Maulud Nabiyy.
“Congratulations to all of us on the occasion of this year’s Maulud Nabiyy. I greet our fathers, the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abdulganiyy Agbotomokekere and his Council, the Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Alhaji Dawud Akinola and all Islamic leaders and scholars for their dedication to the promotion of Islam.
“I want to appeal to all, especially Muslim to maintain the virtues of patience, kindness and tolerance. Let us tolerate ourselves and be kind to one another especially in this trying time of economy. Let us be our brothers’ keeper.
“President Bola Tinubu is working, Nigeria is progressing, let us be patient with the ongoing economic reform, we are all going to enjoy it in the long run.
“As we are celebrating this year’s Maulud Nabiyy, let us pay attention to and emulate the qualities of Prophet Muhammed to achieve a peaceful environment.”
