Former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly and a Director, Public Affairs and Family Assistance, Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), Hon Bimbo Olawumi Oladeji, has lauded All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders across the state for their support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
The Lawmaker who represented Ogbomoso North state constituency between 2015 and 2023 gave the commendation while speaking with journalists during the just concluded APC Unity Rally organized by the Party and Renewed Hope Ambassadors, held across all the 14- Federal Constituencies in Oyo State.
Hon. Oladeji, who described the task as a collective responsibility crucial to the state and the Southwest zone in general, called on political stakeholders and all members of the party to remain united for the task ahead.
She said President Tinubu had performed beyond the expectations of many Nigerians in various sectors of the nation’s economy which has in turn yielded positive result as seen reflecting in the present cost of goods across the country, particularly reduction in the prices of foodstuffs, Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly known as Petrol.
The NSIB Director of Public Affairs and Family Assistance noted that President Bola Tinubu’s various reforms in economy and security have started yielding results, emphasizing that naira is stable and the country is gaining momentum in the fight against insurgents, as well as collaboration among the arms of government.
Hon. Oladeji assured that the country’s 2026 budgetary provisions presented by the President will address the pressing issues that will make life more meaningful for the citizens.
The Director in the Aviation Sector commended all Party Stakeholders in Oyo State for closing their ranks with a view to ensuring that the party remains formidable and stronger, stressing that the decision would also make the party win all the elective positions in the next year general election.
“In the 2023 elections, we delivered Oyo State for our father and national leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we also won the 3 Senatorial seats, and 9 out of 14 House of Representatives positions. But with the reconciliation and our resolve to unite as one, the APC is winning all the elective positions come 2027. Hon Oladeji said.
She stressed that the task ahead is to translate all the support into mass votes for President Tinubu for second term, insisting that Oyo State must deliver votes commensurate with its political and numerical strength.
The former Lawmaker, however, appealed to all eligible voters to make use of the present opportunity to go out en masse to INEC office or registration areas to register for their voter card, which she said would remain the most important tool to elect and re-elect good leaders in the coming elections.
Hon Oladeji, appreciated all the party leaders in the state, state executives led by the Chairman, Alhaji Olayide Abas, Renewed Hope Ambassadors, past and former Senators, House of Representatives members, all appointees under the APC and every member of the party, particularly people of Ogbomoso zone for the peaceful and successful rally.
The former Chairman, Committee on Women Affairs and Social Inclusion reiterated her commitment to selfless service to the people, assuring that they will continue to feel impact and enjoy the dividends of democracy.
