The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, celebrate the strength, resilience, and invaluable contributions of women in our society as we mark International Women’s Day.
In a release signed by Hon. Sanda, who is also the Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in Oyo state, he stated that women, who are the driving force of the society, should be celebrated for their role in building peace and progress in our society.
“Women are the backbone of our homes, the driving force of our communities, and key partners in sustainable development. Their dedication, wisdom, and unwavering commitment continue to shape a better future for our families, our local government, our state, and our nation.
On this special day, I salute the incredible women of Egbeda Local Government and beyond for their hard work, leadership, and sacrifices in building peaceful and progressive communities.
As we celebrate, let us also reaffirm our collective commitment to empowering women, promoting equality, and creating more opportunities for them to thrive in every sphere of life.
