Afrobeats superstar, Davido has revealed that his billionaire father still supports his children’s finances, despite their personal success and fame.
The award-winning singer made the disclosure during a recent interview while speaking about his relationship with his father, Dr Adedeji Adeleke.
According to Davido, his father remains generous to his children and still rewards them financially whenever he is impressed by their achievements.
“I’d be lying to you if I told you that my dad still doesn’t give his kids money,” the singer said.
Recalling one of such moments, Davido revealed that his father gifted him $300,000 after attending his concert at the arena.
“I remember after my arena show, which he attended, he called me and congratulated me, saying that it was a good show, and then he wired me $300,000,” he added.
Despite coming from a wealthy background, O.B.O, as he is fondly called, has consistently maintained that he worked hard to build his own brand and identity in the entertainment industry.
