Nigeria’s Afrobeat star, Damini Ogbulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has sparked conversations online following his heartwarming moments with legendary Fuji musician Adewale Ayuba.

Fuji legend Ayuba was performed on May 10th, 2026, at the high-energy club known as Bayrock Lifestyle, situated at Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Note that Burna Boy is well known to be a big fan of Adewale Ayuba, as the fuji musician performed at Burna Boy’s 34th birthday party on July 2, 2025, which was organized as a surprise by Burna Boy’s mother, Bose Ogulu. The performance took place at a private, high-energy party in Lagos, where Ayuba’s live set was a major highlight.
Among those spotted at the event was Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Burna Boy, who appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the performance. In the viral clip, Burna Boy was seen vibing enthusiastically to Ayuba’s songs, showing admiration for the Fuji legend’s stagecraft and musical talent.
At a point during the performance, Burna Boy reportedly moved closer to the stage and sprayed Adewale Ayuba about $10,000 in appreciation of the electrifying performance.
In response to the generous gesture, Adewale Ayuba was seen singing Burna Boy’s praises on stage as he thanked the Afrobeats star for the support, drawing cheers from the audience.
The Afrobeat star had in March sprayed dollar notes on Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, during a performance at a restaurant in Lagos.
