The family of the governor of Oyo State has released burial arrangements for Engineer Sunday Makinde. The events will hold this week.
According to a radio announcement made by Mogaji Olumuyiwa Makinde and monitored by PMParrot on Monday morning, burial activities will start on Thursday, February 6, 2024 with a special service of songs to be held at the Remembrance Arcade, Government House, Ibadan. It starts by 5pm.
Burial will hold on Friday, February 7 after a commendation service at Bishop Akinyele Church, Iwo Road, Ibadan.
Entertainment of guests will take place at the open grounds at the prestigious Ibadan Recreation Club, Ibadan after the burial.
According to Mogaji Olumuyiwa Makinde, only invited guests will be allowed to be part of the events.
Engineer Sunday Makinde was aged 65 and he is survived by wife, children, Engineer Seyi Makinde, Mr Kayode Makinde and others.
