Facebook has announced the launch of “Creator Fast Track,” a new programme aimed at helping creators grow their audience on the platform through guaranteed earnings and increased content reach.

The company disclosed during the week that it paid creators nearly $3bn in 2025 through its monetisation programmes, representing a 35 per cent increase from the previous year and its highest annual payout to date.

The new initiative is designed to attract creators with existing followings on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, enabling them to grow on Facebook without starting from scratch.

Under the programme, eligible creators will receive boosted reach on their Reels content and three months of guaranteed earnings. Creators with at least 100,000 followers on other platforms can earn $1,000 monthly, while those with over one million followers may receive up to $3,000 per month.

Participants will also gain immediate access to Facebook’s monetisation tools without meeting the platform’s usual eligibility requirements, allowing them to continue earning after the programme ends.

Vice-President of Creator Product at Facebook, Yair Livne, said the initiative was introduced to address concerns about the difficulty of building an audience on the platform.

Livne said, “We wanted to be able to address creators’ concerns that it would be a hard road to onboard onto Facebook and build a community from scratch and build a following, So we set up this program to address that.”

Livne added that while the guaranteed payments last for three months, Facebook will continue to boost creators’ reach until they establish a stable audience.

He also noted that creators can repost existing content rather than produce new material to qualify for the programme.

“You don’t need to create exclusive, brand-new content for this program to meet our initial posting conditions,” Livne said.

“Obviously, we would love for you to bring your latest and greatest, but if you have a great back catalog of best hits, we would love to get that as well, and that qualifies for the terms of the program. So super excited about this. This is something that is addressing a lot of feedback that we’ve heard from established creators who we’ve tried to entice, or have been interested in coming on board,” Livne also said.

Facebook further disclosed that the number of creators earning more than $10,000 annually on the platform has increased by over 30 per cent year-on-year, with 60 per cent of payouts going to Reels content.
