An indigene of Ekiti State, Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin, has emerged as the highest-scoring candidate in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), recording an outstanding 372 out of 400 marks.
The feat was announced in the list of top-performing candidates released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board during the 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions held in Abuja on Monday.
Daniella, who sat for the examination in Ogun State, is seeking admission to study Medicine and Surgery at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
A breakdown of her result showed that the 16-year-old scored 98 in English Language, 98 in Chemistry, 94 in Physics and 82 in Biology.
Expectedly, Daniella’s latest academic feat has earned her truckload of congratulatory messages on various social media platforms including X formerly Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, others.
