Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Christantus Uche, has been voted winner of the UEFA Europa Conference League Fans’ Goal of the Season award for the 2025/26 campaign.
The Crystal Palace midfielder won the award for his stunning strike in Crystal Palace’s 2-2 draw against Finnish side KuPS Kuopio in December 2025.
After receiving the ball just outside the penalty area, he skipped past his marker with a clever dribble before bending a brilliant trivela strike beyond the goalkeeper and into the net.
The stunning strike was one of two goals Uche scored during Crystal Palace’s triumphant UEFA Europa Conference League campaign.
Shakhtar Donetsk forward Isaque Silva secured second place in the voting thanks to his stunning overhead kick against Lech Poznań in the Round of 16.
Defender Florian Lejeune, who plays for Spanish club Rayo Vallecano, finished third with a spectacular long-range effort against Drita during the league phase.
Aboubakary Koita of Samsunspor claimed fourth spot for his brilliant solo goal against AEK Athens, while Rayo Vallecano’s Alemao completed the top five with a powerful strike from distance against Samsunspor in the Round of 16.
Uche joined Crystal Palace from Spanish club Getafe on a season-long loan last summer.
The 23-year-old did not feature in the UEFA Europa Conference League during the second half of the season after being left out of Crystal Palace’s squad for the competition.
He made 14 league appearances for the Eagles, failing to register a goal or an assist.
