Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor has turned down an €11m bid for Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu.

According to Turkish news outlet Takagazete, the bid was submitted by a Saudi Arabian club.

Onuachu, who finished as joint-top scorer in the Turkish Super Lig last season, has attracted interest from several clubs in Saudi Arabia.

The Trabzonspor hierarchy could be tempted to cash in on the striker should a substantial offer arrive.

Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli reportedly saw a bid for the former FC Midtjylland forward turned down during the January transfer window.

Trabzonspor president Ertuğrul Doğan recently revealed that the club has received offers for seven players but added that only one or two are likely to be sold.

Ivory Coast internationals Christ Inao Oulaï and Felipe Augusto are reportedly among the players being considered for departure.

Head coach Fatih Tekke is also said to be open to Onuachu’s departure, with the Trabzonspor boss keen to recruit a more mobile striker.

Having enjoyed a successful loan stint at Trabzonspor during the 2023/24 season, Onuachu returned to the club on a permanent deal last summer.

He ended his first season with the Black Sea Storm on 22 goals, sharing the league’s top scorer title with Eldor Shomurodov, and became the sixth player in the club’s history to achieve the feat.

Onuachu was the hero for Trabzonspor in last month’s Turkish Cup final, scoring both goals in their 2-1 victory over Konyaspor.

Meanwhile, Sevilla striker Akor Adams is on the radar of Ligue 1 club Olympic Marseille.

Adams has been linked with a move away from Sevilla this summer due to the club’s ongoing financial difficulties.

La Liga’s strict financial regulations require clubs to generate substantial revenue through player sales before they can register new signings, making player departures a key part of Sevilla’s plans.

Adams was the Rojiblancos’ leading scorer in La Liga last season, registering 10 goals and three assists in 32 appearances.

The Nigeria international played a pivotal role in Luis Garcia Plaza’s side retaining their top-flight status, with his goals proving crucial throughout the campaign.

According to Fichajes, Marseille are prepared to offer €18 million for the forward as they aim to bolster their title credentials for the 2025/26 campaign.

Sevilla, however, are holding out for a fee closer to €25 million and are under no pressure to accept a lower offer.

Having already played in France with Montpellier, Adams represents an attractive option for Marseille due to his familiarity with the league and proven quality.

The 26-year-old registered 11 goals in 47 league appearances for Montpellier.

He possesses a profile well-suited to various tactical setups, blending speed, technical quality, aerial prowess, and an increasingly consistent end product in front of goal.
