The newly inaugurated Oyo State chapter of the Tinubu Torch Bearer (TTB) has joined citizens across the state to honour the enduring memory of former Governor Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, marking the 6th anniversary of his passing on June 25.
Popularly revered as “Koseleri,” late Governor Ajimobi was remembered for his dedicated public service and a profound political legacy that fundamentally reshaped the developmental landscape of Oyo State.
In a joint statement issued by TTB Secretary Hon. Fadesola Bojuro and Public Relations Officer Hon. Feyisayo Oladiipo, the group extended heartfelt condolences to the Ajimobi family, his friends, and loyal supporters.
The group prayed for his eternal rest, noting that the state will never forget his monumental contributions.
“His commitment to public service cannot be overemphasized. We pray that God comforts all those he left behind,” the statement read.
Simultaneously, the TTB expressed deep gratitude to the former first lady, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, who currently serves as the Nigerian ambassador to Austria. Ambassador Ajimobi physically honoured the group by attending the inauguration of the TTB executive yesterday in her distinguished capacity as the grand matron of the organization.
The group lauded her presence as a testament to her exceptional leadership, compassion, and unwavering passion for the welfare and unity of party members.
The TTB offered prayers for Ambassador Ajimobi, asking God to grant her continued wisdom, strength, and sound health as she carries forward the illustrious legacy of her late husband.
