“He would often describe my journey in the most generous metaphor. He said I began as a flowing stream in the field of communication arts, but that he had watched that stream grow into a big river. Then he would add, with the confidence of someone who had seen something in me long before others did, that in the foreseeable future, Lanre would become an ocean in the field.”

“Those words have remained with me, not merely because they were flattering, but because they came from a man who knew where my journey began.”
