Prominent Oyo Politician cum activist, Comrade Wole Abisoye is set to be laid to rest following his death after a brief illness.
Comrade Wole Abisoye, whose death occurred on August 30, 2026, was a former Oyo State Chairman of Z Labour party.
The politician also had a close working relationship with former Governor Rashidi Ladoja, the current Olubadan of Ibadanland and in addition, he was a former aide of Ex-Governor Lamidi Adesina of Oyo State.
Line up of activities set to celebrate the late politician include a wake keep service set to hold on Wednesday 23, September at Agbowo, Ibadan while the burial service is schedule to take place at Glory Tabernacle Ministry, Oju-irin, Bodija, Ibadan by 10:00am on Friday September 25 respectively.
The organizers added that full security measures have been put in place to celebrate the memory of the departed activist.
