The immediate past Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has commiserated with the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari over the death of the monarch’s mother, Alhaja Ayishat Nma Sulu-Gambari.
Alhaji Ahmed, in a statement signed by his media aide, Dr. Muyideen Akorede, described Alhaja Aisha Sulu-Gambari’s death as a loss not only to the respected monarch but also to the Muslim Ummah, Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State as a whole.
He urged the Emir of Ilorin to accept the Queen Mother’s sad demise as the will of Allah and be consoled by the fact that the late Alhaja Aisha Sulu-Gambari lived a long, fulfilled and fruitful life that will remain a shining example worthy of emulation.
“Our late Queen mother dispensed kindness and warmth to all regardless of their station in life, not minding her exalted position. We pray that Allah forgives her shortcomings and elevates her among the favored in Aljanah”, Alhaji Ahmed said.
