Nigeria international striker, David Okereke rescued his team, Club Brugge from a home defeat to Standard Liege on Sunday evening.
The skillful striker, who was paraded by Club Brugge Coach, Philippe Clement for 90 minutes, justified the faith of the manager, as he scored the equaliser that rescue his team from defeat in front of their fans.
Okereke who started ahead of compatriot Emmanuel Dennis for the crunch game, brought his side level after Samuel Bastien had given the visitors the lead with just five minutes into the game.
Okereke however played the entire duration of the game, while Emmanuel Dennis also watches from the bench all night.
Club Brugge are leading the table with 27 points from 11 games , three more than Standard Liege who has played a game more.
