Mother of Barcelona forward and popular Nigerian female professional footballer, Asisat Oshoala, is dead.
Her beautiful daughter shared the sad news on Sunday evening on her official instagram page. She used the ‘broken heart’ smiley to announce the demise of her kind mother.
Asisat wrote, “Sometimes, life just hit us hard in places we can’t respond”…
Many of her fans and numerous followers have taken to the Instagram post to condole her on the passage of her mother to the world beyond.
The Ikorodu-born footballer is known for her confidence in the field. Her exceptional performance has earned her many awards and recognitions in Africa and the beyond.
The 26 years old footballer was the highest goal scorer at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
