The Kayode Fayemi-led Government in Ekiti state has reiterated its commitment to the completion of the ongoing road projects across the state.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Road Infrastructure, Hon. Sunday Adunmo stated this during the assessment of ongoing road projects in Oye and Isan Ekiti.
Adunmo further commended the resilient efforts of road users who had endured the terrible conditions of the road while reassuring them of the readiness of the government to ensure that the roads are concluded and commissioned within a short time.
He said “The Oye to Isan Ekiti road project was flagged off about a year ago and is set to be delivered within 12 months as efforts are in top gear to ensure it is concluded before weekend”.
He, however, expressed his displeasure over the current state of dilapidated roads across the country while urging the federal government to act fast and rehabilitate all major roads across the country.
He further stressed that the state government is making frantic efforts in ensuring that all the roads across the state are rehabilitated to make them motorable.
