Officers and men of the Nigerian Police force are presently said to be in jubilant mood – and the reason is not far-fetched – the Federal Executive Council (FEC) has just approved a 20 per cent salary raise for police officers.
It is with effect from January 2022.
Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, said this after the FEC meeting on Wednesday.
President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the meeting at the presidential villa in Abuja.
