The Dr Kayode Fayemi-led government in Ekiti State will commence the third round of the Polio Outbreak Response vaccination on Saturday 9th April, 2022.
The Chairman of the Ekiti State Primary Health Care Development Agency (PHCDA), Chief Mrs. Monisola Oloro who made this known in Ado Ekiti, urged mothers to make their children from 0 to five years old available for the 4-day exercise to protect children from contracting polio disease with its attendant irreversible paralysis.
Mrs. Oloro said that the State Government would as usual adopt the house-to-house campaign, visiting markets, religious centres, schools and farmsteads.
She assured that provision of quality health care delivery remained to priority of the Fayemi led administration, adding that government would leave no stone unturned towards ensuring that the people have unfettered access to quality health service in the State.
Oloro urged people in the State to continue supporting efforts of Government at making their lives more meaningful and healthy.
