More Policemen have been deployed to Osun Police Command and they have been drafted to strategic sections in Osogbo and Ede following the sudden demise of popular politician and first Executive Governor of the state, Senator Isiaka Adeleke on Sunday morning.

PMParrotng gathered that protesters, suspected to be sponsored have already taken over Akoda, a community that connects Osogbo with Ede towns. The angry youths insisted that the late politician was spiritually attacked or poisoned because of his gubernatorial ambition.

The protesters, we gathered were also equipped with dangerous weapons and they demanded to know who killed the ‘star of Edeland’.

Meanwhile, PMParrotng was told by insiders at the late Senator’s home in Ede that after Adeleke arrived from a social engagement on Saturday, he entertained visitors till 2 a.m. after which he excused himself and went to bed.

Said our source “however, on Sunday morning, he called out to aides that he did not know how he was feeling and that he was feeling dizzy. His people tried several ways of making him feel comfortable but it was when his condition deteriorated that his doctor asked him to be brought to Osogbo. He was already dead before being taken out of the house.

We also gathered that the sentiment being shared by the people of Ede that the politician, popularly called Serubawon died because of his ambition to be the next governor of Osun State is also being shared by his powerful junior brother, Deji Adeleke, a very rich and influential business tycoon who is also the father of multi-million dollar act, Davido.

It was, gathered from unconfirmed source that Deji, who is not in town ordered that the deceased must not be buried if proper autopsy is not carried out.

As at the time of filing in this report, the corpse was still being attended to at LAUTECH in Osogbo.
