Itesiwaju LG Chair Swears In Caretaker Committee Members

The Caretaker Chairman of Itesiwaju Local Government area, Hon. Adeniyi Adeagbo has sworn in the newly appointed caretaker committee members for his council area.

The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the council’s Conference Room, in Otu, was attended by the local government management team, local and wards leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other stakeholders.

Adeagbo who paid glowing tributes to Governor Abiola Ajimobi for giving them the opportunity to serve in his government in his speech, however, charged the caretaker committee members to always stay in their various wards to attend to the problems of their people.

According to him, “I charge you all to make yourselves available to your people and always remember the Gov. Ajimobi-led administration’s policy thrust of giving governance back to the people at the grassroots. You must identify with the culture of good governance already exemplified by Mr. Governor.” Adeagbo added.

Responding on behalf of other caretaker committee members after taking the oath of office, the Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Taofeek equally thanked Governor Abiola Ajimobi for considering them worthy of the appointments, as well as the Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Development,  Hon. Isaac Omodewu, for his fatherly and leadership roles in the council.

They pledged to collaborate with the council Chairman, Hon. Niyi Adeagbo to move the council forward.

Those sworn in were, Hon. Ibrahim Taofeek Barrywhite as Secretary while other caretaker committee members included Alhaja Taofeek Hajarat  Ayantokun Matthew, Oyesiji Oloyede, Oyewole Segun, Bamgbose Kolawole, Ahmed Jamiu, Tijani Wasiu, Oyetoro Kehinde, Opayinka Aliu, Adejumobi Rukayat, Ojedele Idowu, Adeosun Muyiwa and Bello Ademola Razak.
