Oyo Rep-member, Hon Adedapo Lam-Adesina, a guber aspirant in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Engr Seyi Makinde have joined other great Nigerians to mourn the demise of the Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Michael Adesina Adeyemo.
Hon. Dapo Lam Adesina described the news of the death of the Speaker as shocking and a great blow to Nigeria’s nascent democracy.
He described Hon. Adeyemo as a peace loving individual, who strived for the progress of Oyo State and Nigeria in general.
He appealed to the deceased family, Oyo State House of Assembly Members and Management, and the good people of Oyo State to take the unfortunate incident as the will of the Almighty God.
Omo Oloore, as he is fondly called, prayed to God to give the family, Management and the entire Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Engineer Seyi Makinde, in his own statement submitted that the sudden demise of Adeyemo was a shocking experience.
In a statement from the Seyi Makinde organisation and signed by Prince Dotun Oyelade, the Ibadan-born politician commiserated with the good people of the state, the Governor, lawmakers and above all his immediate and political families.
He described Adeyemo as a good ambassador of Ibarapa zone of the state, seasoned lawyer and an astute administrator who managed the House Of Assembly without any rancour for nearly three years.
Engr Seyi Makinde said Hon Michael Adeyemo left the political scene when his knowledge and experience in lawmaking and politicking would be greatly missed.
He prayed that may God grant his families the fortitude to bear the loss and grant him eternal rest.
